"I Wana Count,' is about my desire to make a positive difference in the world, 

I'm not perfect and at times, I can be selfish  but it's clear, blessing others feels good. Being blessed is a gift from God but helping people in need...feels very empowering. Not in an evil way but rather, in a powerful act of love.

 I want to stand for something greater than myself. I want my life to matter for something that will bring glory to Jesus Christ who is the Giver of EVERY GOOD thing and that's what this song is about.

Jesus gave up His life, laid it down on the cross because of perfect love (so that the human race may go to Heaven and spend eternity with God). This act of love was displayed through a servants heart. And Kings are not servants.

A king doesn't serve anyone let alone die for others. But Jesus needed to do something to save us all. And because His life counted for something (to save the world) , I want my life to count for something, in what I was given (not as the Savior but as Gods child in this world).
